About the role
The Lead Associate provides store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, demonstrating a commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork. The role requires integrity, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Close the store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports, and secure the facility for the night.
- Prepare and maintain records of store operations, including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports; conduct inspections when necessary.
- Operate cash register and provide customer service.
- Receive, price, and stock donations (occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and carry 10–35 pounds).
- Hang, inspect, and tag textile and clothing items in a production‑style setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Lead or supervisory experience required.
- Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday‑Saturday 10 am–8 pm and Sunday 11 am.
Pay
$16.50 per hour.
Schedule
Stores operate Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm, and open at 11 am on Sunday. Lead Associates should be available to work most store hours, with emphasis on evenings and weekends.
