Retail Sales Floor Support - SanTan Village Rack

About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be part of a dynamic retail environment where continuous movement and teamwork are essential. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the sales floor is "runway ready," assisting customers with transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to ensure the sales floor is sized and filled through re-merchandising and straightening.
• Assist customers with transactions using a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and handling bulk items.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and returning clothing to the floor.
• Keep the store clean and organized by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor and managing stockrooms.
• Support stockrooms by organizing merchandise and ensuring accurate ticketing.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies and adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards programs and other initiatives.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Stock and Fulfillment Only: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
