Responsibilities
- Receive and engage with customers to understand their requirements.
- Introduce various product offerings and assist in facilitating customer buying decisions.
- Prepare estimates for products selected and complete sales transactions.
- Achieve category-wise sales targets for the allocated section.
- Count and maintain records of stock daily, managing the opening and closing stock.
- Maintain stock levels for sales and report sold stock to the sales manager for timely replenishment.
- Monitor and minimize dead stock by liaising with the store manager.
- Ensure proper and attractive product display following hygienic standards.
- Transfer stock to the locker at the end of the day and maintain the safety of displayed jewellery.
- Address customer queries and complaints with appropriate solutions.
- Provide support to the marketing team for potential customer visits and exhibitions.
- Identify potential customers and refer them to the store.
- Adhere to cost-saving practices within the store.
- Develop and maintain relationships with competitors to learn from leading practices and improve store-level processes.
