Retail Sales Department Manager- Shoes

We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our Shoe Sales team, motivate associates, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Set sales goals for associates.
• Coach associates to meet and exceed customer expectations by retrieving requested shoes from the stockroom and suggesting additional items that match the customer’s style and description.
• Educate associates on products.
• Observe associate‑customer interactions and provide feedback to develop selling skills.
• Ensure the department is merchandised according to company standards.
• Oversee and coordinate daily department maintenance tasks such as merchandising, display, ad set‑up, and ticketing.
• Assist the Shoe Stock Coordinator with stock placement for all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Assist with fulfillment of customer internet orders.
• Work as a team player to ensure every customer’s needs are met.

Requirements

• Prior retail management experience, preferably in shoes.

• Physical ability to handle a fast‑paced environment, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Effective communication with coworkers, management, and the buying division.

Schedule
