Retail Sales Clerk II - Farmington

About The Role

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in finding products, making selections, and sharing product knowledge.
• Compliance & Safety: Strictly verify IDs to ensure all sales are made only to customers 21 and over, screen for intoxication, and maintain situational awareness for loss prevention.
• Point of Sale: Process transactions accurately at a cash register, handle cash and card payments, give correct change, and balance the till at the end of a shift.
• Inventory & Order Fulfillment: Assist in receiving, inspecting, storing, and displaying merchandise. Fill wholesale liquor orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required.
• Store Operations: Maintain the facility in a clean, orderly, and safe condition, including occasional light maintenance like clearing sidewalks. Assist with inventory spot-checks and support store operations during peak times or in the absence of management.

Requirements

• Age: 21 years or older.
• Physical: Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for approximately 70% of the shift.
• Schedule: Able to work a flexible schedule, including various shifts Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Background: Must pass a criminal background check.
• Communication: Ability to speak clearly and understand spoken information effectively.
• Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service by assessing customer needs and meeting high-quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).
• Extensive standing/walking (approximately 70%/30% of shift).
• Constant balancing, grasping, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, and hand/wrist/arm use.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and seeing.
• Occasional climbing and walking on level or uneven surfaces.
• Use of tools: POS system, box cutter, hand truck.

Pay

$18.02 hourly wage.
