Retail Sales Clerk

Cash Handling

Cash handling functions, confirming prices, assisting customers with their purchases, operating a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems and processing daily paperwork and forms.

Security and Confidentiality

Ensures that unauthorized persons are not operating their assigned cash register and keeps passwords confidential.

Serving Customers

Ensures customers are waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner. Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times.

Company Policies and Procedures

Adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems are helpful
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment

Requirements

• Availability to work on weekends
