Retail Sales Campus Ambassador

About the role
You will work jointly and directly with General Mills Campus leaders and the leaders of your Career Centers. Developmental emphasis will focus on integrity, honor, and advocacy for emerging career exploration. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop yourself both professionally and socially.
Locations: Indiana University, Notre Dame University, University of Arkansas, University of Arizona, University of Cincinnati, University of Minnesota, University of New Mexico, Utah State University, Wake Forest.
Responsibilities
- Act as the General Mills representative at campus events and determine the strategic direction for engagement on your campus.
- Work with your Recruiting Team Lead to develop a comprehensive campus plan.
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, organizations, and professors to share internship and career opportunities.
- Participate in General Mills career fairs and present to campus organizations and information sessions.
- Help coordinate the on-campus interview process.
- Seek out additional organizations and efforts where General Mills should be involved.
- Network with corporate recruiting team members and interact with Senior Leadership.
- Organize campus recruiting social activities and volunteer events.
- Develop relationships with key members of your school’s Career Center.
Qualifications
- Current freshman or sophomore status at one of the following schools: Indiana University, Notre Dame, University of Arkansas, University of Arizona, University of Cincinnati, University of Minnesota, University of New Mexico, Utah State University, or Wake Forest.
- Interest in self-development; business or liberal arts majors preferred but not required.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to work in teams.
- “Out of the box” innovation skills.

Pay
$14 per hour (temporary non-scheduled part-time status, no additional benefits included).
