About the role

We are hiring for clothing departments (men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories).

Responsibilities

• Organize clothing to ensure it is easy to find, including recovery and grouping like sizes together (75% of your time).
• Stock fixtures and shelves to keep them fresh and full.
• Courteously help customers find merchandise and answer questions.
• Build rapport with regular customers by learning their names and buying interests.

Requirements

• Knowledge of clothing brands and hot trends.
• Prior retail experience is desirable but not required—this can be your first job.
• Reliability for 20-25 hours per week; we will work with you on scheduling.
• Teamwork with a positive outlook to help achieve team goals.
• Initiative to shift gears without being told when not assisting customers.

We sell this inventory through our well-known local retail store (10,000+ transactions/week), on-site bid sales (1,400+ bid lots/week), and online via eBay (3,300+ listings/week). Each year, we process over 1 million unique SKUs arriving in 40-60 trailer loads per week.
