As a Retail Selling Colleague, you blend selling that delivers results with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You’ll also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting so every customer feels welcome the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities
- Begin each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, and current trends and promotions.
- Engage with customers through warm welcomes, eye contact, and friendly conversations to build relationships and drive repeat visits.
- Maintain a shoppable sales floor by recovering merchandise, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Promote the Loyalty program and ensure customers leave with everything they need, ending interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Collaborate with teammates to support one another and improve service for customers and communities.
- Strive for continuous improvement, take pride in your work, and achieve individual and store sales goals.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Comfortable reading and understanding employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, and eager to start new ventures.
- Able to work independently but thrive in team dynamics.
- Comfortable using electronic devices, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing transactions.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
- Lifting at least 25 lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Reaching, including above eye level.
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology to perform job functions.

Schedule
- Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week.
- Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week.
- All schedules include weekend shifts as part of the requirements.
- Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.
