About the role
The CHEF’STORE Sales Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of customer service, aligning with US Foods' core values of delivering excellence, minimizing waste, fostering teamwork, encouraging open communication, and valuing individual contributions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure impeccable customer service by interacting with customers and promoting the CHEF’STORE brand.
- Utilize POS systems efficiently, including scanning merchandise, weighing product, and reporting discrepancies.
- Perform cart-to-cart transfers, inspecting products for tampering, and verifying cart contents.
- Work as a receipt checker, assisting in store opening and closing functions, and participating in inventory processes.
- Manage sales floors by replenishing stock, ensuring product quality, and assisting with price changes.
- Assist with special events and store resets, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
- One year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency with office equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule
Full-time nights: 11PM - 7:30AM, 30-40 hours weekly, with weekends and holidays required.
