Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and meeting company service standards.
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor, including folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
• Perform marketing activities, such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to meet company goals.
• Complete transactions and paperwork accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies.
• Stay aware of advertised merchandise and assist with stock processing and maintenance.
• Build professional yet personalized rapport with customers to close sales and enhance their experience.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic math and ability to learn selling skills.
• Ability to operate a POS register and telxon.
• Availability to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
