Retail Sales Associate - Fly Shop (West Location)

About the role

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT, is seeking a Full-Time Fly Shop Associate to join their team. The position plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through outstanding service, product generation, inventory management, and ensuring a clean and organized department.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and generate sales
• Suggest and recommend products to customers
• Stock and merchandise the fly shop department
• Maintain a clean and organized department
• Safeguard company assets
• Work flexible hours between Monday to Saturday 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm, including weekends and holidays
• Perform tasks independently or as part of a team
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Teach and assist customers in using various fly fishing techniques
• Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels
• Follow safety protocols for lifting and moving heavy items
• Participate in training and development opportunities

• Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 65 lbs.
