Retail Sales Associate - Cashier - (West Location)

About the Role

North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA (West Location) is looking for an authentic and enthusiastic Full-Time Cashier who loves our lifestyle and believes in service before self. As a Cashier, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, processing sales transactions, and offering solutions for our customers’ needs.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon–Sat 7 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. Shifts may include weekends, certain holidays, and require flexibility based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and engage with customers regularly
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet business needs
• Handle cash and operate POS systems (experience a plus)
• Assist with lifting and carrying items (0–15 lbs. continuously, 15–30 lbs. frequently, 30–55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs.)
• Remain on your feet for 100% of work time, including use of ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to engage effectively with others
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques
• Cash handling and POS experience is a plus
