About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Flavor Experts to join our team at our Gatlinburg location. As a member of our team, you will be immersed in a fun, creative, and supportive environment centered around food. This is not just a boring behind-the-register position—our staff have been with us for years and truly enjoy the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide stellar customer service to guests
• Maintain inventory levels and price products
• Blend and package spices, seasonings, and loose-leaf teas
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge
• Operate a cash register and greet guests
• Help customers find what they’re looking for
• Restock shelves and keep the shop tidy
• Open and close the shop as a keyholder
• Utilize math skills to measure ingredients and follow recipes

Requirements

• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic retail environment
• Passion for food, flavors, and culinary exploration

Schedule

• Store hours: 9 AM – 9 PM (Sun–Thurs), 9 AM – 10 PM (Fri–Sat)
• Opening shift starts around 8:30 AM
• Closing shifts typically end 10–20 minutes after closing
• Schedules are made four weeks in advance
• Full-time positions available, with preference for closers (openers needed soon)

Pay

• Starting pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour (higher rate depending on sales experience)
• Monthly bonuses
• Pay is distributed weekly
