About the role

Sun Tan City is one of the largest family-owned tanning salon chains in the country with approximately 250 salons in 20 states. It’s part of the Glow Brands family, headquartered in Louisville & Elizabethtown, Kentucky, managing over 350 locations and employing over 2,200 individuals. We focus on building trusted client relationships that help clients look good, feel good, and build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by meeting all client needs professionally
• Build strong client relationships and understand their needs
• Make recommendations for products and services
• Maintain minimum sales requirements
• Multi-task: clean beds as clients leave and engage new clients upon arrival
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of tanning rooms, lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas
• Work cohesively in a team within a fast-paced salon environment while upholding company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods
• Bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
• Lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
• Bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from floors
• Perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
