About the role

We are looking for a warm, polished, and product-passionate Retail Sales Associate to join Peacock Alley's Dallas showroom. Peacock Alley is a luxury linen and bedding brand celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design, and the finest materials in the world. This is more than a sales role — you'll be a trusted style advisor, brand ambassador, and hospitality expert, guiding customers through a truly elevated shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and engage customers with warmth and professionalism befitting a luxury brand
• Guide customers through our collections with expert knowledge of fabrics, care, and design pairings
• Offer personalized styling recommendations to help customers build cohesive bedroom and bath collections
• Cultivate lasting relationships with repeat clientele through attentive follow-up
• Achieve individual and store sales goals through consultative, customer-first selling
• Handle returns, exchanges, and inquiries with grace and professionalism
• Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system (Shopify)
• Become an expert on Peacock Alley's product lines, materials, and seasonal collections
• Share the brand's heritage and craftsmanship story in a natural, compelling way
• Support visual merchandising and display standards to keep the showroom flawless
• Maintain a beautifully presented, organized store environment at all times
• Receive, tag, and stock merchandise; assist with inventory counts
• Process special orders and communicate timelines to customers
• Support opening and closing procedures and adhere to all loss prevention policies

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have a high degree of professionalism and personal presentation consistent with a luxury environment and bring previous demonstrated, successful, on-site retail experience in luxury, home décor, or lifestyle brand environment.

• A minimum of 8+ years of on-site retail or customer service experience in a high-end customer market
• A genuine passion for beautiful products and a natural ability to connect with customers
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required; preference will be given to candidates with advanced education coursework in design, fashion, or hospitality and/or candidates who are actively working towards a degree in this industry
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation

Peacock Alley offers a competitive benefits package plus an hourly rate of $21.00 per hour plus commissions.

Our Dallas, TX, showroom is located in the heart of the Uptown Dallas in a historic, 100-year-old bungalow at 2711 Fairmount St. Dallas, TX 75201.
