About the role
The Retail Sales Associate position at Pacific Whale Foundation is a seasonal full-time, non-exempt role located in Kihei, Maui or Maalaea, Maui. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to protect the ocean through science and advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to customers
- Drive sales and achieve sales goals
- Manage transactions and handle purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of six months of retail experience
- Reliable, confident, and outgoing personality
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
Requirements
- Ability to work well with others
- Adapt to a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of standing for long periods and safely lifting up to 35 lbs
- Currently reside on Maui
- Must be 18+
