Role: Retail Sales AssociateLocation: Sarasota, Florida, United StatesEmployment Type: Full-timePayout: Competitive, based on experience Role OverviewThe Retail Sales Associate guides customers through their home furnishing purchases by providing knowledgeable, personalized service and product recommendations. This role supports sales performance, customer satisfaction, store operations, and inventory processes in a fast-paced retail environment Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service by engaging guests professionally and helping them identify products and styles suited to their needs.Maintain a welcoming and professional presence while representing the store through positive customer interactions.Accurately process sales orders and transactions while following cash-handling procedures and maintaining complete documentation.Assist customers with credit applications and financing-related matters as required.Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and support positive customer outcomes.Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in periodic inventory counts.Meet or exceed sales goals, KPIs, and established performance standards while completing additional assigned responsibilities Required Skills & QualificationsLegally authorized to work in the United States.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.One year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.Ability to communicate information clearly and persuasively to encourage customer action.Creative mindset with enthusiasm for developing and sharing ideas.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with reliable attendance More About the OpportunityThis opportunity is well suited for sales professionals who enjoy customer interaction, lifestyle retail, and a performance-focused environment.
