About the role

This Retail Guide position is part of Cotopaxi’s brick‑and‑mortar stores, which serve as hubs for connection, inspiration, and adventure. You will guide customers by sharing product knowledge and personal experiences, helping them prepare for their next adventure while embodying Cotopaxi’s “Do Good” mission. The role is based at the Cotopaxi Retail Store in Seattle Premium Outlets, Tulalip, WA.

Responsibilities

• Champion authentic guest experiences by greeting every guest, sharing personal adventure stories, and offering expert assistance.
• Educate guests on products, local highlights, and Cotopaxi’s mission and impact.
• Serve as an ambassador for Cotopaxi’s values of People, Innovation, and Adventure.
• Restock and destock merchandise to keep the store organized and inviting.
• Open the store on time, close it at the end of the day, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Manage the point‑of‑sale system to ensure smooth, satisfied transactions.
• Contribute to a collaborative, uplifting store culture.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Retail or similar high‑pace environment experience is a plus.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to share Cotopaxi’s story.
• Humanitarian mindset aligned with the “Do Good” mission.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Self‑guided with strong accountability.
• Flexible availability: at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week, plus holiday season work (including the Friday after Thanksgiving).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Pay

$22.00 per hour plus bonus potential.

Schedule

Part‑time, non‑exempt position with flexible hours. Must be able to work at least two weekdays and one weekend day each week, and be available during the holiday season, including the Friday after Thanksgiving.
