Retail Sales Associate

About the role

East Coast Lumber is seeking Retail Sales Associates for Full-time and Part-time positions. Successful candidates will have strong people skills, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be able to work in a team environment, and most of all enjoy working with people.

General Requirements

• Need to have excellent phone skills.
• Must have good organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.
• Be able to lift 50lbs.
• Able to work on your feet for 8hr. shift.
• Experience or exposure to Building Materials or Hardware is a plus.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Available and willing to work at least one weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm.
• Must be legal to work in the United States and be over 18 years old.

Duties

• Operating a Point-Of-Sales system to sell products from in the store or out in the lumber yard.
• Assisting customers with product location and selection.
• Restocking shelves, cleaning, and organizing products on the floor, and answering customer phone calls.
