Retail Sales Associate

Cox Communications is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will connect with customers, drive sales, and ensure they feel valued.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities based on customer needs
• Offer suggestions and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
• Aid in the opening and closing of retail store environments
• Handle cash transactions accurately
• Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations
• Support fellow sales associates as needed
• Stay updated on current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training
• May be required to work in other locations in the same geographical area

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative selling
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds for stock room inventory

Benefits

• Variable targeted total compensation of $48,868 ($23.49/hr.) with potential for higher earnings
• Full-time hourly base rate of $16.38/hr. plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,279
• Ramp period of up to 2 months for adjusting to commission earnings

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on location and experience.

The job requires working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
