Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Cox Communications is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. This role involves connecting with customers, managing store operations, and staying updated on product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities
• Offer suggestions based on customer needs
• Meet or exceed sales and customer experience targets
• Aid in store opening and closing
• Handle cash transactions
• Participate in workshops and special events
• Support fellow sales associates
• Stay informed about current and competitor products through training

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to diverse customer bases
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds for inventory management

Qualifications

• Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, or management
• One year of experience in a related field (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry, etc.)
• Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on location and experience. An annual incentive/commission target of $15,348.00 is also available.

Schedule

This role requires flexibility, including working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
