Retail Sales Associate - 2380

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

Pay

$17.05 to $19.65 per hour plus commission. Associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $2.05 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions following established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items in accordance with company policies.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of performing duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Assist customers outside the building, including retrieving products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with people and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate with ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Schedule

Most stores open at 9 AM and close at 6 PM; many locations are closed on Sundays.
