Retail Sales Ambassador
About the Role
Women’s Bean Project is expanding our reach to serve more women in the Denver community. As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in launching an exciting new retail popup at Denver International Airport. This position is an opportunity to shape a new retail venture while representing a brand with a powerful purpose. You’ll be the face of Women’s Bean Project at our airport kiosk, creating memorable customer experiences, driving sales, and introducing travelers to our mission and products.
This is a 6 to 8-month contract position, with the potential for extension based on the success of the retail venture.
Responsibilities
- Represent the brand as a welcoming, enthusiastic ambassador for Women’s Bean Project and our mission.
- Drive sales by proactively engaging customers and recommending products.
- Create memorable experiences by connecting with travelers and making every interaction positive, personal, and mission-driven.
- Increase revenue by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products while meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Educate customers about Women’s Bean Project, our products, and how employment with supportive services helps women create lasting change.
- Maintain a clean, organized, attractive, and fully stocked retail kiosk.
- Collaborate with the Women’s Bean Project team to help launch, refine, and grow this new retail venture.
Requirements
- Sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience.
- A confident, friendly, and engaging communication style.
- A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Computer skills and POS system proficiency.
- Ability to successfully complete the required background check and obtain/maintain all credentials and security badges required to work at Denver International Airport.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to safely lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Able to crouch, push, and pull to stock products or reach for customers.
- Able to communicate and converse with customers.
