Retail Sales Agent | On Call

About the Role

The Retail Sales Agent at Lewis & Louis within the Omni Louisville Hotel will provide exceptional guest service, maintain an appealing retail space, and foster a positive atmosphere for customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests enthusiastically (by name when possible).
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner.
• Operate the Micros POS system for merchandise sales.
• Maintain working knowledge of the hotel and available items for guests.
• Assist in the presentation and merchandising of Lewis & Louis.
• Price, display, and store new merchandise efficiently.
• Assist the Retail Manager with inventory counts.
• Maintain and balance the daily cash register.
• Adhere to Omni Hotels & Resorts conduct standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Hotel-Specific Functions

• Operate POS, telephone, and radio communication systems.
• Effectively communicate with all hotel departments.
• Stay knowledgeable about hotel activities and offerings.

Additional Duties

• Respond to reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Knowledge of the property and surrounding area.
• STAR Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
