About the role
The Retail Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, ordering products, and ensuring that all merchandise meets quality standards. This position works closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and order products to meet demand while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive rates and favorable conditions.
- Ensure all merchandise received is inspected and meets quality standards before being placed on shelves.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement purchasing strategies that support sales goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to improve relationships and service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail purchasing or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
- $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
Schedule
