About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Associate to join our Retail Team at our Buffalo, NY location. This role involves delivering high-level customer service, handling retail transactions, and developing product knowledge to assist customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sales of uniforms, firearms, and ammunition in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Complete required sales paperwork and registration documents for firearms sales.
• Maintain accountability for all retail transactions, including cash, credit card, and on-account purchases.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phone.
• Research product or order information to help customers make informed decisions.
• Assist with inventory placement, organization, and counting.
• Develop comprehensive product knowledge on existing and new product lines.
• Attend organizational or training meetings.
• Report problems or issues to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Merchandise and organize products on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retail showroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory & Operational Authority

• Reports directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• May assume operational control of the store for short periods in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and safety procedures.
• Must present a clean, professional image and maintain a safe, presentable work environment.
• Responsible for entering daily timekeeping requirements.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Record of employment stability with an "owners not renters" mentality.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, including handling or selling firearms or tactical/protective law enforcement or emergency gear.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
