Retail Picture Framer

Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions, help customers shop the store, and maintain a safe, clean, and clutter‑free environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Use the Elevated ABC Deliver approach to build relationships and create custom framing solutions while delivering sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready‑made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service: acknowledge customers, help locate products, and offer solutions.
• Keep the store well‑merchandised and in stock.
• Support shrink‑prevention and safety programs.
• Interact respectfully with others, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes, ensuring standards are followed and budgets met.
• Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Assist with Omni‑channel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Experience

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Preferred Experience

• Retail experience.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Physical Requirements

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames; accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

Public retail store setting with climate‑controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled. Duties may include outdoor work (e.g., retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks). The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay

Base pay range: $11.25 – $13.20 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
