About the role
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technicians are sought for a dynamic specialty pharmacy team. The role involves Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holidays. BJC HealthCare, a large nonprofit organization, offers competitive benefits and a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Handles all Retail Pharmacy Technician I and II responsibilities, including clerical duties, data entry, cash handling & reconciliation, inventory management, advanced compounding, and orientation/training of new team members.
- Manages patient & internal billing and reconciliation.
- Assumes primary responsibility for a specific task, function, or area of specialty, such as purchasing, automation, shipping, or leading a specific workflow area.
- Performs administrative responsibilities, including responding to insurance audits, supply management, and bank deposits.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
- State Board of Pharmacy registration and Pharmacy Tech certification required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Proficiency in computer systems and software is also required.
