Retail Pharmacy Tech 3
About the role
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician positions are needed for a dynamic specialty pharmacy team. The team operates Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, with no weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Handles all Retail Pharmacy Technician I and II responsibilities, including clerical duties, data entry, cash handling & reconciliation, inventory management, advanced compounding, and orientation/training of new team members.
- Manages patient and internal billing and reconciliation.
- Assumes primary responsibility for a specific task, function, or area of specialty, such as purchasing, automation, shipping, or leading a specific workflow area.
- Performs administrative responsibilities, including responding to insurance audits, supply management, and bank deposits.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
- State Board of Pharmacy registration and Pharmacy Technician certification required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
