Work Life Balance
Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some exceptions per clinic. No nights, weekends, and closed most federal holidays.
Essential Job Functions
- Support and educate patients on their medications.
- Manage staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop the pharmacy staff by maximizing colleagues' strengths and weaknesses.
- Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
- Perform pharmacy operational management and oversight, including:
- Patient Safety
- Pharmacy Professional Practice
- Regulatory Requirements
- Quality Assurance
- Customer Service
- Personnel Management
- Inventory Management
- Financial Profitability
- Loss Prevention
- Workflow Management
- Stay current with HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing.
- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws regulated.
- Ensure compliance with local facilities policies.
Requirements
- Required Education & Licenses: Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university, and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
- Preferred Experience and Skills: Previous management experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340B knowledge is a bonus but not required. 3 years related pharmacy experience. Immunization certification is preferred. Vaccination Administration. Planning and implementation of growth strategies for your pharmacy. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional patient service skills.
