Retail Personal Stylist - Grove LA

Main Purpose of the Role

The Retail Personal Stylist role is a full-time position designed for candidates passionate about contemporary and luxury personal shopping. This role is crucial for enhancing the shopping experience for Revolve & FWRD's best customers, driving sales, and building brand loyalty.

Major Responsibilities

• Proven experience in a sales-driven environment, achieving sales targets aligned with business growth goals.
• A proactive sales approach, consistently improving the client experience and boosting sales.
• Customer-centric, fostering long-term relationships to build brand loyalty.
• Developing and maintaining one-to-one client relationships through regular communication and order/return history analysis.
• Identifying and prioritizing sales leads, implementing new selling ideas to meet targets.
• Increasing client spend and loyalty by understanding needs and upselling (when applicable).
• Building new client relationships and re-engaging lapsed clients.
• Reviewing data to identify client preferences and purchasing patterns.
• Providing weekly and monthly sales performance updates to management.
• Managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines, demonstrating strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Initiating face-to-face contact with customers, covering for other Personal Stylists as needed.
• Working flexibly to cover shifts and complete tasks.

Required Competencies

• Extensive knowledge and experience in contemporary and luxury fashion, including current trends.
• Strong knowledge of apparel construction, size, and fit.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Logical thinker and problem solver.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous sales experience or styling experience in contemporary & luxury clothing sector (2 years minimum).
• 3+ years of retail experience.
• Management experience a plus.
• Experience in both brick and mortar and/or ecommerce settings.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Gmail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
