Event Coordination

• Coordinate and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store.
• Create and implement event plans, including party add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Communicate with clients about events and store team members.
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
• Create and execute backup or emergency plans as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.

Customer Service

• Help customers shop and locate products.
• Provide solutions and assist with Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Complete enrollments and answer emails, make phone calls, and complete paperwork.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and educate them on VOC surveys.
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance.

Operational Tasks

• Unload trucks and perform merchandise duties.
• Maintain store recovery standards as needed.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
