Retail Parts Clerk
About the Role
Our Retail Parts Clerk assists walk-in customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct RV parts and accessories. This includes answering inquiries, providing price quotes, and offering product recommendations. This person must also be familiar with monitoring, organizing, and restocking the parts inventory, pulling parts for both retail sales and service repair orders, and reporting low stock.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process sales transactions using the dealership's inventory management system.
- Handle cash, credit, or internal charges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the parts department and storage areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet commerce.
- Prior experience in a retail or parts sales environment (automotive or RV) is preferred.
Pay
$15–$17/hour + commission.
