Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales offerings, and engaging with the local community.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function to drive overall store sales.
- Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to ensure correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Communicate effectively to request assistance and coordinate service for customers.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Engage positively with clients, coach and train associates to enhance the customer experience, and support community outreach initiatives.
- Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided tools to deliver the total solution.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, and assist in cash handling and audit processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related fields, such as sales or customer service.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use computers and technology for information access.
- Advanced selling skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Able to assist others in a professional environment.
- Pays close attention to detail to ensure high-quality production in the Print Services area.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
