About the role

The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, encompassing products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. This role requires quick building and maintenance of customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, and supporting sales offerings through provided training.

Responsibilities

Supports efficient operation in the Print function to drive overall store sales.
Operates and assists associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time.
Uses communication tools to request assistance within the Print Services area and coordinate service for all customers throughout the store.
Processes merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards.
Identifies areas for process improvement and implements plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; supports loss prevention efforts.
Contributes to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
Drives positive client satisfaction levels by coaching and training associates to enhance the customer experience.
Supports community outreach initiatives to drive client/customer retention.
Develops personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
Performs external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing responsibilities, and Leader on Duty functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years related experience in sales and/or customer service preferred. Basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems. Attention to detail and ideally experience in Print Services.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

The salary range for this role is $14.54/hour to $18.15/hour, with compliance with state and local minimum wages resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range.
