Retail Part Time Team Lead

About the role

The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, encompassing products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient operation of the Print Services area, ensuring accurate and timely completion of customer orders.
• Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, coordinating service requests and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
• Drive positive client satisfaction levels by coaching and training associates, and supporting community outreach initiatives.
• Perform External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty functions, including opening/closing responsibilities, loss prevention compliance, and cash handling oversight.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service; basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems; attention to detail; experience in Print Services is preferred.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

The salary range for this role is $9.94/hr. to $16.50/hr., with compliance with state and local minimum wages. The company provides a benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan and more. The work schedule is part-time, with the possibility of performing External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty functions.
