Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing “total solutions” to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive corporate culture.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation of the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Operate and assist associates with all equipment in the Print Services area, coordinating service requests and improving operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with loss prevention policies.
- Drive sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction initiatives, and coach associates to enhance the customer experience.
- Engage with the community to retain clients and develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, monitoring key performance indicators, and assisting with cash handling and audits.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and experience in Print Services.
