Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with Office Depot's 5C values.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function to drive overall store sales.
- Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to ensure correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Communicate effectively using available tools to request assistance and coordinate service for all customers.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; support loss prevention efforts.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Drive positive client satisfaction levels, coach and train associates to enhance the customer experience, and support community outreach initiatives.
- Perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing store responsibilities, and assist in review of cash handling, cashier, and merchandise error logs, register voids, tax exemption, and related cash office audits.
- Participate in Leader on Duty functions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service; basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems; attention to detail; experience in Print Services is preferred.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is 10.93 to 18.15, with compliance with state and local minimum wages. Benefits include a 401(k) and more. The company offers opportunities for advancement within the organization.
