About the role

The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive corporate culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support efficient operation of the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
  • Operate and assist associates with all equipment in the Print Services area.
  • Communicate effectively within the Print Services area to request assistance and coordinate service for customers.
  • Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
  • Identify and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies in the store.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; support loss prevention efforts.
  • Drive sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and train associates to enhance the customer experience, and support community outreach initiatives.
  • Perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, and assist in cash handling and audit processes.
  • Contribute to a vibrant sales culture, visual merchandising standards, and logistics activities.
  • Participate in Leader on Duty functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service; basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems; attention to detail; experience in Print Services is preferred.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
