Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.
Primary Responsibilities
Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation while driving overall store sales. Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
Operational Efficiency: Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhere to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Client Engagement: Drive positive client satisfaction levels through coaching and training associates, supporting community outreach initiatives, and continuously developing personal selling skills and product knowledge.
External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure safety and security during the absence of management, assist in loss prevention compliance, and perform opening/closing responsibilities including cash handling, register voids, and tax exemption reviews.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to use computers and technology for information access
Advanced selling skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, and ability to assist others professionally
Pays close attention to detail for high-quality production in the Print Services area

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $12.50 to $14.50 per hour, with compliance with state and local minimum wages resulting in possible adjustments to the salary range.
