Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot provides "total solutions" to customers, covering Products, Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. They build and maintain customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor through provided training. Primary Responsibilities
Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation while driving overall store sales. Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders. Utilize communication tools to request assistance and coordinate service.
Operational Efficiency: Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards. Identify and implement plans for process improvement and loss prevention compliance.
Client Engagement: Drive positive client satisfaction levels by coaching and training associates to enhance the customer experience. Support community outreach initiatives to retain clients. Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure safety and security during the absence of management. Assist in reviewing cash handling, cashier, and merchandise error logs, register voids, tax exemptions, and related cash office audits. Perform opening or closing responsibilities, including activating/deactivating the store's alarm system and processes for opening or closing the store.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to use computers and technology for information access
Skilled in Customer Service and Print Services experience desired
Advanced selling skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, and ability to assist others professionally
Pays close attention to detail for high-quality production in the Print Services area
Desire to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge
Drive for results, decision quality, patience

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
