Retail Part Time Sales Lead, Savage X Fenty (Fashion Centre at Pentagon City - Arlington, VA)

About the role

Savage Retail is looking for a Part-Time Sales Lead to report directly to the Store Manager and play an essential role in supporting day-to-day store operations and team development. In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to uphold the values and culture of Savage x Fenty, building a fearless, confident, and inclusive team that delivers an exceptional customer experience. As a leader, you will help establish and maintain a forward-thinking, innovative retail environment for both the store team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Uphold an inclusive store culture reflective of brand values, fostering engaged associates and outstanding customer experiences.
• Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures, bank deposits, driving productivity, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming sales floor.
• Achieve KPI targets, budgets, and objectives by fostering accountability for individual and team performance.
• Engage customers by providing knowledge on product fabrics, features, fit, and function.
• Train and provide immediate feedback on the Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals in coordination with Store Manager and Leads.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to simplify shopping and add value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Actively participate in providing feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve business operations.
• Strive for excellence in meeting store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Uphold all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Support inventory controls by accurately receiving/transferring product, participating in inventory counts, and maintaining an organized back of house (boxes may weigh 10-30 lbs).
• Assist with visual merchandising standards in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business or operational needs.

Requirements

• 1-2 years in a customer-facing role; experience in lingerie, intimates, or high-volume retail is a plus.
• Flexible and reliable schedule; availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Approach ambiguity and challenges with positivity and a growth mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate vision and purpose.
• Tech-savvy or strong comfort with technology as part of daily responsibilities.
• Self-directed and highly motivated to take ownership of tasks and ensure solutions.
• Ability to work in a team-selling environment.
• Physical requirements: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
