About the role

The JC Licht family is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join their Wheaton location. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing retailer where every member of the team is valued.

Responsibilities

• Aid all customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Answer customer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers with all product lines and services.
• Assist store managers with outside sales calls as needed.
• Determine customer needs by asking questions and listening to responses.
• Suggestively sell additional merchandise to customers, helping them complete their projects.
• Participate in all provided training programs.
• Maintain merchandising standards, including product displays and promotional displays.
• Participate in store activities such as stocking shelves and carrying merchandise.
• Present a professional appearance, maintain good attendance, and arrive on time.
• Participate in daily housekeeping responsibilities, including maintenance and product organization.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Process sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and negotiation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally.
