What You Can Expect
As our Retail Ops, Analyst II, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Learning and supporting the products we sell, applicable tax rules, regulatory compliance requirements
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer concerns that impact billing accuracy
- Contributing to key billing functions within independent and cross-functional team projects
- Working with third-party vendors, both independently and in a team environment, to provide best-in-class customer service for internal and external customers
This position sits in Houston, TX and reports to the manager, Retail Ops.
What You’ll Bring- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, or have 4 years directly relevant experience in lieu of degree
- You have at least two (2) years of analytical experience in a business environment
- You have direct billing and operations experience within retail energy markets, including exposure to multiple market environments
- You are knowledgeable in retail energy operations, procedures, regulatory standards, and the use of tools such as SQL, macros, and MS Access
- You have advanced PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to work across multiple data systems
- You are detail-oriented, reliable, and ethical, with strong follow-up skills and the ability to deliver accurate work with quick turnaround times
- You are an independent thinker and collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; three days a week in the office
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- Salary Range: $57,000 – $87,400 USD annually
- This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
- ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
- In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
