Retail Operations Specialist
About the role
The Retail Operations Specialist supports day-to-day retail operations across a growing fleet of stores. This role ensures operational requests are handled efficiently while improving processes to reduce manual work and support scalable growth. This role will partner closely with store teams and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain consistent, repeatable operational processes that enable expansion without adding complexity.
What You'll Do
- Support daily retail operations, including monitoring and resolving service tickets, maintenance requests, and supply needs
- Serve as primary point of contact for store operational questions, troubleshooting, and escalations
- Build, document, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all stores
- Identify process gaps, manual workarounds, and inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements
- Support new store openings by ensuring operational tools, processes, and systems are consistently deployed
- Partner with corporate and field teams to ensure operational solutions are practical and scalable
- Support implementation and optimization of retail systems
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardization
- Gather feedback from store teams to continuously improve operational workflows
What You Bring
- Greater than 2 years of experience in retail operations, consumer goods, or multi-unit store environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting or scaling operations across multiple locations
- Proven ability to design and implement standardized processes
- Experience in a high-growth or expansion-stage retail or consumer goods company is a plus
- Familiarity with POS, ERP, and inventory management systems
- Experience supporting new store openings or operational transformations is a plus
- Project management experience (formal or informal) is a plus
