Retail Operations Keyholder
The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is dedicated to furthering the ideals and promoting the welfare of the United States Military Academy (USMA), and to supporting and serving its graduates. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leader development institution, with a student body of 4,400 cadets.
About the role
This part-time position reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations and supports daily retail operations in a fast-paced environment. Seasonal demands may require additional weekday or weekend hours. The Keyholder will assist the Retail Manager and supervisory staff to achieve financial goals and may independently assume managerial responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain store and departmental standards
- Control shrinkage and manage inventory
- Fulfill web orders and process stock receiving
- Operate the Celerant point-of-sale and inventory management system
- Support offsite events such as class reunions or sales/delivery opportunities
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working on ladders for extended periods
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred)
- Retail experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must live within commuting distance of West Point
Pay
$19.00–$22.50 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Schedule
23 hours per week, with occasional additional hours required for seasonal demands.
