Retail mission to NRF 2027

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is hosting a Digital, Immersive & Retail Tech mission to New York City for the NRF Big Show 2027. This mission is designed to support UK companies in the retail tech sector looking to expand their presence in the USA.

About the role

• Opportunity to showcase brand and services to potential buyers, partners, and enablers at the UK Pavilion at NRF's Big Show.
• Access to retail decision-makers from over 100 countries, including C-suite executives, digital transformation directors, and IT buyers.
• Exposure to over 40,000 visitors in 2026, including executives from major tech companies like Google, Meta, Amazon, and Walmart.
• One-week event that efficiently builds a US pipeline for UK companies.

Responsibilities

• Showcase your brand and services to potential buyers and partners.
• Attend an exclusive VIP networking reception with C-suite executives from leading US brands and retailers.
• Participate in online pre-mission briefings.

Requirements

• Businesses must be registered on Companies House.
• Must have achieved MVP or early beta status.
• Exporting to at least one market.
• Minimum £2m revenue.
• Product-market fit for the US demonstrated.

• Companies must be past MVP/early beta.
• Must have exported to at least one market.

Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate and market products/services.
• Experience in the retail tech sector.

Pay

The commitment fee to participate is £6,000 + VAT. This includes two tickets per company, a branded pod on the UK Pavilion, and access to the UK Pavilion.
