Retail Merchandiser Team Lead

About the role

Provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build displays and end caps
• Reset shelves with product rotation
• Track inventory to optimize sales opportunities
• Support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to move, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Experience leading and training people
• Proficiency using smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and build successful teams
• Safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Qualifications

• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Use smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Be a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
