About the role
The Master Club Fitter is responsible for building golf relationships, supporting sales targets, and managing the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains relationships with golfers and teammates to ensure a positive club fitting experience.
- Supports the Operations Sales Manager in achieving company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution, and profit and loss controls.
- Trains and certifies all club fitters and focuses on driving sales in services areas like simulator, putting green, special orders, pre-owned, club fitting, repair programs, accessories, etc.
- Analyzes sales reports and communicates insights to teammates.
- Maintains relationships with athletes and provides golf services knowledge.
- Manages store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs.
- Trains teammates on all aspects of services, including specialized selling techniques, services technology, etc.
- Ensures department scheduling, workplace, and daily teammate assignments are on track.
- Communicates information to department teammates about company initiatives, programs, promotions, services, etc.
- Assists the store management team with general supervision, including opening and closing the store and coverage as assigned.
- Plans and executes all golf directives.
- Ensures the store achieves its shrinkage goals by collaborating with teammates/management on display and merchandise handling practices.
- Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with the use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
Qualifications
- Targeted Pay Range: $19.50 - $28.50.
- Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered.
